About Aaron Magill
Aaron Magill is a production assistant with UTSA Athletics, where he helps lead innovative ESPN+ broadcasts alongside a team of 12 student workers. Magill prides himself on always striving to push the envelope in live production. He has been a part of 70 broadcasts already during his time at UTSA. He joined UTSA in January 2025 after earning his bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communications with a minor in Marketing from Kansas State University in 2024. While at Kansas State, his work in storytelling and videography earned industry recognition, including three regional Emmy nominations.
During his time in school, Magill worked for K-State Athletics, a part of the video department, K-StateHD.tv. Being the lead in-house board show student director for many different K-State Sports home games. He has also worked with professional teams like the Kansas City Royals and Kansas City Chiefs, and served as lead event video director for Christ In Youth conferences, managing concert live event video productions.
