About Elliott Greisen
Elliott Greisen is the director of sports production broadcast at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), a role he has held since April 2024. A passionate advocate for student development and experiential learning, Greisen has built UTSA’s sports broadcast department from the ground up into a thriving, student-driven operation. Under his leadership, the department now provides hands-on, real-world broadcasting experience for students, who play a central role in producing live sports content for the university.
Greisen earned his Master’s degree in Sports Journalism from the prestigious Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University in 2022. His educational background, combined with his commitment to innovation and mentorship, has positioned him as a rising leader in collegiate sports media. With a keen eye for storytelling and technical excellence, he continues to elevate UTSA’s broadcast presence while shaping the next generation of sports media professionals.
