About Garrett Hill
From a young age, Garrett Hill grew up being interested in technology. He started working in commercial AV/broadcast a bit before high school and continued to be interested in those industries. Throughout high school and college, Hill worked for a few mobile sound, video, and lighting companies, setting up and operating equipment for live events, and performing commercial AV installations. While still a student, Hill started working for HuskerVision in 2017, assisting full time staff with their technical needs for producing sporting events in Husker athletics. Having graduated in December 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Hill has continued to develop his skills and understanding of AV and broadcast areas, heavily focusing on emerging IP technologies in the industry. Other areas of interest include live sound reinforcement, broadcast audio, and system administration as it relates to AV and broadcast.
