About Lee Scioneaux
Lee Scioneaux serves as the director of broadcast operations for LSU Athletics, where he oversees the Broadcast Operations team and leads all in-venue and broadcast initiatives across LSU’s athletic programs.
In 2017, Scioneaux played a key role in the department’s expansion, designing the layout and managing renovations that grew LSU’s broadcast capabilities from two to five control rooms. He also led the design, workflow planning, and implementation of LSU’s 2024 technological upgrades in Tiger Stadium, which included enhancements to the video boards, ribbon displays, sound system, and LED lighting.
Scioneaux began his career in 1990 as an editor and producer at a post-production facility, eventually rising to the role of operations manager. In 1997, he founded his own production company. Two years later, his firm was commissioned to produce the first in-venue video package for LSU’s newly installed videoboard in Tiger Stadium. This partnership expanded over the years to include in-venue content for football, men’s and women’s basketball, volleyball, baseball, and various coaches’ shows.
In addition to his production work, Scioneaux has served in multiple roles—producer, director, and technical director—for a wide range of live events. He officially joined LSU’s broadcast team in 2014 as the department expanded to meet the demands of the newly launched SEC Network.
