About Maria Trivelpiece
Maria Trivelpiece is currently the director of video communications and reporter at the American Athletic Conference. At the American, Trivelpiece serves as the primary on-air talent for conference programming—hosting weekly shows, calling games, creating content and covering conference championships.
Before joining The American, Trivelpiece served as multimedia journalist for the Patriot League for three years where she created feature stories on student-athletes. In addition, she was the Patriot League’s primary front-facing talent for original content and at conference championships.
Trivelpiece also works as softball color analyst for a variety of networks calling games. The Pennsylvania native graduated from Fordham University with bachelor’s degrees in journalism and psychology, while she also holds a bachelor’s degree in broadcast and digital journalism from Syracuse University. She was an all-conference softball player at Fordham, where she earned four varsity letters and served as team captain.
