About Patrick Cunningham
Patrick Cunningham joined Elon University Athletics as the director of live broadcast production in June 2023. At Elon, Cunningham oversees a crew of more than 85 student workers and helps lead the production of over 130 live broadcasts annually, including five Elon football games shown on local linear television.
In addition to his broadcast leadership role, Cunningham is an active member of the Elon Athletics Professional Development Committee, contributing to initiatives that support the growth and success of athletic department staff.
He graduated with his Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Virginia Tech in 2021 and his Master of Arts in Journalism from the University of Missouri in 2023.
