About Ceri Thomas
Ceri Thomas is a workflow architect specializing in immersive audio capture, soundfield recording, and real-time mixing for next-generation broadcast. Known as a “professional enabler,” he develops practical, scalable pipelines that help creative and engineering teams adopt new formats without friction.
Across roles at Dolby and Apple, Thomas defined production workflows, delivery requirements, and studio integration methodologies for spatial audio, working directly with engineers, manufacturers, and global broadcast partners. He created QC processes, listening-room standards, and production guidelines that improved consistency and confidence in immersive deliverables.
Today, through his independent consultancy IMMERSV, Thomas focuses on enabling teams to produce compelling immersive experiences while maintaining operational efficiency.
