About Dan Grainge
Dan Grainge is the president of NEP Specialty Capture, where he is responsible for setting the strategy and priorities of NEP’s division providing industry-leading innovative camera solutions to a diverse portfolio of customers across the globe.
The NEP Specialty Capture division was formed out of NEP’s three original specialty capture services brands: Fletcher, Broadcast Sports International and Aerial Video Systems (AVS). In 2024, the three original businesses rebranded to form NEP Specialty Capture, forming the industry’s most extensive line-up of robotic, wireless and hardwired camera solutions.
Under Grainge’s leadership, NEP Specialty Capture has been at the forefront of camera system innovation and delivery for the world’s biggest productions, including developing the industry’s first 5G-connected wireless camera solution and an AI-powered system capable of automatically recognizing and tracking action across simultaneous live feeds. Prior to his current position, Grainge was originally CEO and President of Fletcher Group, providing the industry’s leading hardwired camera systems. When Fletcher Group was acquired by NEP in 2018, Grainge joined the NEP Broadcast Services senior management team.
Upon joining Fletcher in 1990, Grainge played a key role in keeping the Fletcher name and brand synonymous with innovative broadcast technology. Based in Chicago, Grainge and his teams are winners of numerous Emmy Awards among other industry recognitions. He began his career as a freelance videographer, including for CNN.
