About Jacqueline Coleman

Jacqueline Coleman is a highly accomplished executive and creative leader in the sports and entertainment industry, with a strong background in marketing, content creation, live production, and broadcast management. Her career spans decades of progressive advancement in leadership roles, including a significant tenure with the Washington Nationals Baseball Club where she served as SVP of Marketing, Broadcast & Game Presentation. She possesses a robust track record of developing innovative marketing campaigns and content initiatives that successfully drive ticket sales, increase brand engagement, and enhance the live event experience.

During her 14 years with the Washington Nationals, Coleman was accountable for leading all Marketing, Content/Creative Development, Advertising, Social Media, Game Presentation, Promotions, and Special Events. She directed marketing and game presentation efforts to grow revenue, build the team’s brand, and significantly enhance the Nationals Park experience, balancing brand and transactional marketing expertise. Her leadership resulted in consistent strength in ticket sales, including achieving 20,000 season planholders, and she successfully ideated and stood up the internal content shop, Curly W Productions. She also played a crucial role in the execution of major events, including the 2018 All-Star Game, Playoffs, and the World Series Parade.

Prior to the Nationals, Coleman held executive positions where she gained deep experience in broadcast and network operations. As Vice President of Arena Operations, Broadcast & Radio for Monumental Sports WNBA Mystics, she was integral to the team’s re-launch, overseeing in-arena game presentation, videoboard content, and managing broadcast talent. She also served as Vice President of Programming & Production for Carolinas Sports Entertainment TV (CSET), where she was part of the executive staff that launched the first 24-hour Regional Sports and Entertainment Network for North and South Carolina, managing strategic oversight, production, and execution of original programming.

Coleman’s early career includes a substantial period with Black Entertainment Television (BET), culminating as Vice President of Sports, Specials, & Primetime. In this role, she oversaw creative and budget direction, managed staff in LA, NY, and DC, and was responsible for the creation and executive management of award-winning original programming and specials, including the BET Awards Show, Celebration of Gospel, and various sports series. Her expertise covers the entire spectrum of production and programming, from strategic planning and budget management to talent selection, set construction, and the development of successful promotional and marketing campaigns across all platforms. She holds an Emmy Award and an NAACP Image Award and is a member of various industry and advisory boards.
