About Jason King
For over thirty years, Jason King could be found in and around the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. In the 90’s, King was on the competition side of Indycar racing as a mechanic, fabricator, and pit crew. These years would yield two Indy 500 wins, two championships and in 1997 being named to the Indycar All-Star team. The 2000’s saw him transition to emerging technologies in motor sports and television. In 2008 King joined IMS Productions, engineering a large variety of live sports broadcasts, including the Indianapolis 500. Today, King is the senior director of engineering at IMSP, where he leads his team through the complex and always changing world of technology and broadcasting.
