About Michael Schneider
As COO/GM, Michael Schneider is a member of Main Street Sports Group’s senior executive leadership team and responsible for building and managing Main Street Sports’ Direct-to-Consumer business inclusive of its corporate Marketing and Product teams. His team is responsible for Main Street’s recent, significant DTC growth. He is also deeply involved in rethinking Main Street Sports’ role as a regional sports network and brand in the digital age, having led efforts to restructure and reorganize the company emerging from bankruptcy. Prior to joining, Schneider was the vice president of brand and content marketing at Hulu where he led the teams driving Hulu’s overall marketing efforts across the SVOD and Live TV businesses. In particular, Schneider oversaw brand marketing & strategy and the day-to-day performance of Hulu + Live TV.
Under Schneider’s leadership, Hulu launched Hulu+Live TV into one of the top live streamers in the U.S and Hulu grew into one of the most culturally relevant and high growth brands in the country. Schneider has been named to the prestigious AdAge 40 under 40 list and was named one of the most powerful marketing leaders in streaming by Business Insider.
Prior to joining Hulu, Schneider was a member of the founding PlayStation Vue launch team leading customer marketing and strategy and responsible for the service’s launch and business growth. Schneider has also held multiple senior marketing roles at Charter and Time Warner Cable where he led customer engagement and loyalty initiatives.
Schneider holds an MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business and a BA from Vassar College.
