About Mike Werteen
Mike Werteen has served in several senior executive roles at NEP since joining in 2008 and is currently president, NEP Americas and global chief commercial officer. As President, Werteen is responsible for setting the strategy, driving priorities, and leading a program of business optimization for the company’s largest region. Werteen also brings an extensive commercial background and expertise to his role, serving as global chief commercial officer for the entire NEP Media Services operational segment. Werteen continues to represent NEP’s Media Services businesses worldwide as a member of the Group corporate executive team.
Prior to joining NEP, Werteen served as General Manager of NCP after a long career in television. An industry veteran with four decades of experience, he began his television career in 1984, first starting in production, then quickly progressing to sales and then to management. His rich experience and understanding of the broadcast industry has been an asset to NEP as it continues to lead the industry in technology and innovation.
