About Sam Fray
Sam Fray is the founder of Black People in Sports Broadcasting CIC and a talent development specialist whose work strengthens career pathways behind the camera across sports media, branded content and live production. She designs programmes that blend practical training, mentoring and industry collaboration, with a clear focus on progression into leadership. A Leeds-based board member at Leeds Playhouse, Fray centres regional equity and access, bringing more voices, skills and opportunities into the sector.
In 2025 she led BPSB’s Cannes Lions delegation and produced its Impact Report, translating insight into partnerships and pipeline activity. Her background spans programme design, community building and stakeholder engagement across broadcasters and creative organisations. Currently completing the Co-Active Leadership Programme, Fray’s mission is simple, create inclusive systems that turn representation into results.
