Once again, SVG Audio, in conjunction with major sports broadcasters and our sponsors, will host the Advanced Audio Production Symposium at the Westin Detroit Metro Airport Hotel. This exclusive, invitation-only event brings together leading mixers, sound designers, and technologists for a full day of learning and thought-inspiring discussions.

This year we will have an opportunity to examine two recent international sporting events and count up successes and emerging challenges. We’ll expand on discussions of artificial intelligence beyond autonomous and assisted mixing, to explore AI-enabled voice and effects processing, audio control via AI video analysis, drone and environmental noise filtering, and real time multi-language close captioning, dialog replacement, and signing. We will look at the latest use cases for digital microphones, and assess the long-awaited roll-out of Dolby AC4 on streaming services. Finally, we will explore how the rapidly changing landscape of sports broadcasting continues to place additional demands on audio production operations.

All day summit sessions will run from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday the 21st followed by dinner that evening.
