A premier sports destination in Miami, the Kaseya Center has been the home of the Miami Heat since 2000, but now a quarter of a century old, the NBA organization was due for a much-needed technological refresh. After a multi-layered renovation that spanned over the course of two seasons, which included a new IP-based production control room in 2023 and a new Flame Ball centerhung in 2024, the venue is now geared to support futureproof productions in South Florida. Along with this facility in the 305, sports stadiums and arenas are adapting to more events during the season and in the offseason. The 2026 SVG Venues & Teams Summit will analyze all of the work that was done in this newly reinforced arena, the current challenges facing the in-venue production community, how teams continue to engage their fans, and what the future of the industry looks like.
