MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. — The Silicon Valley Video Summit (SVVS), the premier gathering for the region’s enterprise video, broadcast, and AV community, today announced its return to the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, California, for its fifth annual Summit on Tuesday, January 26, 2027.
Industry technologist and video innovation leader Andrew Cross has been named Conference Chair for the 2027 event. Cross, inventor of the widely adopted NDI (Network Device Interface) video standard, recently served as GM of New Initiatives at Amazon and previously held executive leadership roles as CEO of Grass Valley, President of R&D at Vizrt Group, and CEO of NewTek.
“Video is the single most compelling corporate communication medium for building business relationships at scale,” said Cross. “The potential for producers and technology providers is enormous: in the U.S. alone, there are over 300,000 businesses with more than 50 employees—representing a market 100 times larger than the entire traditional TV ecosystem. For every one of them, the story they tell with video tells the world who they are, what they make, and why it matters.”
Now in its fifth year, SVVS brings together senior enterprise executives, systems engineers, creative directors, and technical producers from Silicon Valley’s leading technology companies and production facilities to explore how video is transforming corporate communications, internal knowledge sharing, and brand strategy.
The 2027 Summit will once again be title-sponsored by Advanced Systems Group (ASG) and B&H Photo.
